October Fun!

 We have been busy the last few weeks learning about all things Fall! We made some "Color Fall" Trees for our classroom bulletin board,

And we made our own Leaf People to go along with the story of Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert.

Thank you for the pumpkin donations! We used them for Pumpkin estimation and exploration!

And a classroom Jack O' Lantern!

We also made some shape witches for our story "Room on the Broom",

And for our Halloween Celebration we made Bat and Spider Hats!

 Happy beginning of school (finally)!

Well, it certainly has been quite an adjustment for all of us, but we are well on our way to learning new rules and routines! Your children have been nothing short of amazing through all of this change! They are flexible, resilient and just so happy to be back with their peers. We have been busy getting to know one another and adapting to the schedule.

We made shape pattern headbands and color changing chameleons,

Feelings "Monsters" after reading "Sad Monster, Glad Monster",

and even painted prints with apples...

But the most fun has been getting to know each other better!
