March Madness

In celebration of Read Across America, we always begin March with Dr. Seuss. We read lots of stories and then made some cat in the hat masks.

We also explored some March science, starting with our wild weather and cloudy paintings.

We learned all about the water cycle and did an experiment with cotton balls and water,

and made some clouds in a jar. The kids enjoyed adding colored water and watching the "rain" come through the clouds and create rainbow colors.

And finally, once again we set a leprechaun trap in hopes of catching a little magical guy.....although that did not happen we had lots of fun investigating the evidence left behind, including lots of fruit loops and glitter, a note and a gold coin for each of them!

It was such a fun month!
