In honor of both Read Across America and Dr. Seuss' birthday, we teamed up with Miss Klipfel's 4th graders. They visited our classroom and read us some Dr. Seuss stories...
Great job reading 4th graders!
March certainly came in like a lion and gave us many opportunities to look at the weather. We learned about the water cycle
and made our own "Clouds in a jar".
We made our own windsocks and tried them out on our playground to see how much the wind was blowing.
We are also enjoying our new dramatic play "weather center" where we can take turns forecasting the weather and filming the "telecast" with our homemade video camera...
And we are making sure to record the weather of each day!
We were all feeling a wee bit Irish this week...
