We have been very busy this month learning all about apples, pumpkins, leaves and other fall things. We have a new Farmer's Market in our dramatic play center and the kids have been busy shopping for produce and having friends ring it up on the cash register!
As part of our science curriculum, we learned how to use our five senses to explore a pumpkin. First we checked the outside (looking, smelling, touching, etc.) and then the inside.
Sticky, slimy, ooey and gooey were the adjectives most used to describe it!
We also read Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert and then made our own leaf people.
