End of the Year Events

I want to thank all our family story tellers who gave their time to come in and read to the class these past couple of months. We looked forward to those days and loved having you all share your stories with us!

With graduation behind us we still had a very exciting last few days of school! We released our classroom butterflies...

And took a trip on the bus to visit the Fuller Meadow School!

We all had a great time!

Author Study

We have learned so much about the author and illustrator Eric Carle in our recent author study. We watched him paint his collages in his studio and then tried his techniques on our own collages. After reading many of his stories, we chose a few to collage and add to our big project.

They were so proud of their work!
